CUcontent has released an affordable new financial literacy course aimed at promoting financial wellness to children and teens. Credit unions can purchase a group license for the course at a significant discount, making it great for credit unions of any size.
The Sally Floss Financial Wellness Course teaches basic personal finance topics such as needs vs. wants, how to save money, how to manage money, and encourages younger members to develop a healthy relationship with their finances. Children (and their parents!) will love the interactive and fun nature of the course.
The course accompanies the feature-length film, “Sally Floss: Digital Detective,” which highlights the credit union difference and their ability to serve their members. Young members and potential members will love getting a firsthand look at the importance of managing their finances, which serves as a powerful motivator to engage in financial literacy initiatives.
The movie, now available on Amazon Prime, is directed by James Cullen Bressack.
“Financial literacy is more important than ever, and the younger you start, the better.” says Laura Enock, publisher and founder of CUcontent. “This course makes it easy and affordable for every credit union to engage entire families with inter-generational conversations about smart money management. There’s no better way to build member loyalty.”
Credit unions who review the movie on Amazon Prime will also have the opportunity to get a free movie night in-a-box kit.
The course is available here.
